My current and fave cleanser ever. I decided to try once I finally accepted that Cetaphil was breaking me out big time. It has a slight fragrance which I wasn’t expecting but I don’t notice anymore and it never bothered me. No stinging sensation, it cleans well and my skin doesn’t feel stripped dry after using it. 5.
Rosewater as a toner (just to get rid of any dust/fibers from towel drying my face) Vanicream Lite Lotion. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Repair Moisturizer SPF 30. PM. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water (going to try out oil cleansing soon) La Roche-Posay Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser. Stridex Medicated Pads (just started this and it has
Hello everyone, I'd like to say how much I've liked this products, KEEP IN MIND, it's the version from the UK, which IS different from the version from the US (this has benzoyl peroxide). It has really helped my skin out, that alongside the purifying foaming gel by the same line are awesome in my opinion, they're gentle and do the job for
Product Question. I'm looking for a good chemical exfoliant for dry skin on my forehead. At Shopper's Drug Mart she recommended La Roche Posay Effaclar Concentrated Serum (Salicylic acid, glycolic acid, LHA). It looks like it's for daily use, but I thought chemical exfoliants should only be used 1-2x a week.
La Roche Posay Effaclar morning and night. HYFAC Soin kératolytique aux AHA (French cream, sorry) morning and night. La Roche Posay Anthelios 30SPF(morning) I also followed a keto/paleo diet. Avoided gluten like the plague. Also exercised twice a week (running). I was pretty healthy back then. But I also was severely depressed. And noooow
It helps with the occasional spot but thats it. It worked for me and I use the other Effaclar products as well. But I don't have acne, just ocasional spots that got worse with the use of masks. They launched a new serum from this line that is targeted for acne I think, so maybe it's an option
LQeU9Q3. [Acne] Have been using La Roche Posay Effaclar duo for 7 weeks and am breaking out like crazy Acne I bought this in France so I think it is the European one with salicylic acid, I have been sticking to it thinking it’s just a purge, but now at 7 weeks with lots of breakouts and red marks - should I continue or give up?
Isocetyl Stearate is very comodegenic (like a 5/5) and it’s the 4th ingredient in your product. I highly recommend giving your skin a break from this and seeing if it improves. It might be better to use a salicylic acid wash at night than using this product. Or try a salicylic acid serum/spot treatment. 2.
It's possible it will be irritating but only testing it will give you a definite answer. It has to be at a concentration or 5-10% for best results and a ph between 3-4.
I've seen results (the good kind) from long and consistent use, so I honestly don't think it's strong enough to cause any purging. CandyCatRedits. • 5 yr. ago. When I've used La Roche-Posay's Effaclar Duo (not Plus) before for comedonal acne my skin became itchy, dry and irritated and I had an increase in breakouts too.
